Level 1 focused on getting the student comfortable with a simple Dante on a single network switch. This Level 2 class will step that up, offering perspective on designs spanning multiple networks switches, traffic optimization, redundant networks, and working on a system managed by Dante Domain Manager. It also offers a view of firmware updates and Dante presets that can be helpful in managing the network.

The network concepts taught here will start to delve far deeper than required to operate a Dante network. However, exposure to these concepts will help students understand networking more deeply, which instills more confidence in working on a network. Also, the skills learned in this class will prepare students to continue on to Level 3 (2nd Ed).

*It is highly suggested that students take Level 1 (2nd Ed) before taking this class - even for long time users of Dante. Level 1 added significant new content around video and networking best practices, plus a look at the breadth of ways Dante appears in products.
